Default Folding Out Feed Table for Table Saw

Just made up a folding outfeed table for my TSC 12hb. There is a section 295mm deep that doesn't fold done, while the folded section is 395 deep.

The Design was based on this.

    G'day PaulS!

    Nice one mate!

What sort of stock are you working with that you need such a big outfeed table (versus, say, a height-adjustable roller)? Full-size (8'x 4') sheets, or such?

Seeing your pics, I'm tempted - very tempted.....

    Cheers!

    Very neat.

I take it that you can adjust each leg if your floor is not level? Looks like I see a screw for adjustment.

I could have actually made it a little bigger. The length of the folding section is governed by the clearance to the floor, although in my case it was governed by the sheet width of the melamine board, so it is a little short.

I do cut some sheet stuff, but it is (will be) nice to cut longer pieces of timber without having to fiddle with the roller stand and have it pull the wood off in some other direction, because it is a bit wobbly.

    Junkboy,

Yes you are right about the height adjustment on the legs,
just a couple of tee nuts banged into the bottom and some bolts.

The legs are just held on by hinges. Simple, but not sure how they will stand the test of time.
