Default Barwon Valley Woodwrights Woodcraft Exhibition

    Barwon Valley Woodwrights

    16th Annual Woodcraft Exhibition

    State office building
Crn Little Malop and Fenwick Streets
    GEELONG VICTORIA
    Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th November 2006
    10:00am - 4:00pm Daily
    Admission $3.00

Only 1hr from Melbourne ..... leisurely drive (I take it daily, very enjoyable).

Its a little disappointing that this hasn't been mentioned yet ..... great chance to see works from 6 clubs around the area.
Demonstrations, displays and sales ....... and
Jim Carroll! (Note: The man and the shop in one).

Come one come all .... stink has some work in this year ....

(Note: If you go into Geelong please excuse the poor example of urban design that our wonderful local council is having their second shot at in just as many years).

Michael did you have a look at johns naked clock.
He has 3 fine examples of wooden geared clocks to see.

Certainly did .... marvellous work .... even had a chat with John. It would take me years just to churn one out.

I tried not to look at too much tonight as I plan on having a good look tomorrow when it opens.

Went along and met Jim Carroll (bought a book on turning and got a shedload of free advice - thanks Jim!). Apparently I just missed Stinky. Lots of interesting things there, some great work by school kids too.
