    Default Hastings Woodworkers Guild Exhibition

The Hastings Woodworkers Guild Annual Exhibition was held over this weekend from the 8th - 10th October, at the Port Panthers Auditorium in Port Macquarie, on the beautiful mid-north coast of NSW.
It was a massive effort by club members before, during and after the Show.
The exhibition featured a fine range of Woodwork and included demonstrations of Wood Turning, Wood Carving, Scroll sawing and Intarsia as well as Pyrography.
Large numbers of interested craft lovers patronised the event over the three days, and as well as enjoying the exhibition, also contribited to local charities including the Oncology Unit and Camp Quality.
Here are some images of the Exhibition showing happy club members and patrons alike, as well as a sample of the works on display, and some of the demonstrations as well.
Well done to all the Hastings Woodworkers
    Cheers
    SG

Yep, we will have to fix that for next year on this forum anyway.
The club has mailed promos to the other clubs and there was TV and radio promotion for a couple of weeks prior. There was also newspaper exposure, and the main raffle was manned in public places for many months before, as an advertisement for the upcoming show.
We certainly had a great number visit over the three days. I think we had around 700 visitors through the show on the Saturday alone.
    Thanks for your kind words.
We are all having a spell now as we lead up to Christmas, but the new year will see plans for the 2011 show being put into place.
    Cheers
