I think you'll find that is the list of clubs that have paid to have their names in the yellow pages.

You are correct, of course. I just thought it was remarkable, after doing a Google search, that this was the best I could come up with ("quickly" admittedly) - here is another:
Clubs Woodworking in NSW
I really like that one as it gives you the distance to the nearest (dist = 630.3 Km.) ;-)
I guess the point I am trying to make is, well, it might be useful to have a list on this site - I notice there are references to "guilds", Triton clubs, woodturning clubs, etc etc but there is no real organisation to it - at least as far as I can tell - please tell me if I am wrong, it wouldn't be the first time!
But perhaps there really ARE no "woodworking clubs" in NSW?

Well the Illawarra Woodworkers Group is operational and celebrates it's 35th year this year. We have a website, illawarrawoodworkers.org.au and according to the VWA site there is a Goulburn Region woodworkers.

Try these links,
Australian Wood Review - Clubs
may not be fully up to date as it is the clubs responsibility to forward on details.
&
VWA Resources: Club Listing
"This list is not exhaustive, and it is only kept up to date by submissions from woodworking clubs themselves."

I note your link that the search comes up with "near Bega". If that is where you are after, there is a big woodturning club in Bega, also Merimbula I believe
