Mike Darlow videos
The "A to Z", or 'In Praise of Local Libraries'.
Just spotted (and borrowed) the 3 tape set of Mike Darlow's woodturing videos. Now I've got a valid reason to get to use *my* VCR and *my* TV, and to stop the family being exposed to the idiocy of "Neighbours" (at least for 6 hours).
The "A's" are the "Ah-ha!" moments, when I realised what I'd been doing wrong, and just what all the words describing how to sharpen gouges really meant.
The "Z's" are what I was emitting after about 10 minutes exposure.
The cover really should warn you to load up on caffeine or some other stimulant before watching ...
Cheers,
Andrew
