    I think it looks good......something that might be worth considering (probably already have) is to have a thicker face, maybe in a harder wood, so that you can drill dog holes in it to take bench dogs...? I made my dogs out of 3/4" dowel ...with the dowel pined in thin rectangled pieces of timber that is the stop for the stock.....if you know what I mean
