    Lignum.....
Mate, I know its hard when you team is just so bloody marvelous (read: uninspiring) that you have to put some of the extra devotion into 'hating' the 'Pies.

Never understood people barracking for Collingwood to go down, you may as well just admit that you love the 'Pies and get with the program.

Its even coming out in your work - witness the "black and white" Sassafras you've been using. Notice that you are in thrall to the Domino - it's major colour is black, and comes with a white systaiiner, doesn't it?

Just come out of the closet mate, admit it and walk proud, head up and not caring a damn for the opinion of others - JOIN THE MIGHTY MAGPIE ARMY!
You know it where you want to be.
    Cheers,
    Clinton

Never been to a football game in my life.

Don't ask me what the game is all about, I mean there they are out there all chasing after that one ball, and mean you see them come home with broken legs mouths, eyes, etc: I mean why don't they just go to the shop and buy themselves one each?

According to Eddie there are two types of supporters. The Collingwood ones and the ones that wish they were *LOL* sorry Ed not interested.

Collingwood picked up a flag with Leigh Matthews at the helm. Wonder why they didn't try to keep him? If you ignore that flag you have to go back to when before they last won one. Picked up some a long time ago but nothing much since then. The last of the famous 4 in a row they got by being flag holders and kicked out of the finals and then being allowed to challenge the winner of the grand final to a rematch with the flag up for grabs. That would be a real good way to get there. Lose in the first week and then rest up fix up your injuries and after the premier has the flag give them a challenge and take on a side that has expended it's everything to win.

Don't think the Crows are finished. They started their big winning streak early in the year on the back of a number of injuries, players stepped up and they became flag favourites. See what they can do this time not easy but doable.

Sydney are a real chance but have to win this week. Playing West Coast and then playing the week after after coming back from Subi is a big ask. Freo are some chance but remains to be seen. West Coast I don't know if they really have what it takes. So it is pretty open. Might even see a Melbourne side win a few games, won't be Collingwood though. So it is pretty well wide open to my mind. There are several teams in that can win and if a tough contest like this someone like Melbourne or the Dogs could slip through and win it while no one is watching.

Then your father has failed you.

I'll be there on Sunday with my boys, AFL members, section Q as always.

    I haven't voted either. It's a forgone conclusion.

    It's not a foregone conclusion.

Last year Sydney won no one picked that after rd 22

    Year before Port likewise.

Brisbane got their first as underdogs. At the beginning of that year no one believed that there was any team anywhere that could beat Essendon.

Chances are the list goes on

Surprised he got of for that elbow. Looked pretty cut and dried to me. Intentional blow to an opponents face. Must be nice being with Collingwood. Maybe they have a star factor thing that they apply along with the previous record type of blow etc etc put it in the computer and it comes out, guilty should go for two but seeing he gets bums on seats I reduce it to a warning?
