    Never. Sausages only need pricking if they've got too much water in them. If you buy decent sausages, they don't need pricking.

    No sausage pricking here, because when I'm cooking sausages it's usually south african borewors. You don't prick those.

    I cooked some aussie snags last night and half of the buggers split. Should've pricked them.

    Don't need to prick them as I usually slice them down the length soon after they firm up on the plate and we then have "butterfly" sausages.
