If you have to go overseas you should email Mark Hennebury mailto:[email protected]. You know he has them as he has several of the machines. He has some second hand ones for sale on his website and put one on the sawmill site in July (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthre...=supersurfacer.

Maybe you could order your type and size of shavings!

You could also try this site (need to have google translate it for you) and email them to ask if anyone in Australia has bought one http://translate.google.com/translat...006-39,WZPA:en

Yes Mr NCArcher, that is what I need - good picture! , but... I figure why make my own (to start with) when there must be heaps out there, I just need to find them.

And look at the further links and ideas that have been posted. Oh I'm so gonna get some shavings soon and have some fun - that should keep my muse happy

    cheers
    Wendy
