OK, I had to look it up. 14th of Feb 1966. I vaguely remember my mum buying 2 cent stamps to post a letter but that must've been a couple of years later because I was only 8 months old at the time....
Guess you wouldn't remember the jingle then :DQuote:

Nope. It was pretty much Andy Pandy and the Flowerpot Men for me in those days ;)
OK, what was the following jingle advertising?
"A little dab'll do ya"
Brylcream of course !
(I wonder if you can still buy that gloop?)
My dad still has a jar of that! No use to him now though since all his hair fell out :)
Right. What did Jimi Hendrix have in his brain?
I was waiting to give someone else a go but looks like they've all gone to the pub.
Purple Haze...
Who painted this (bonus point for the title):
Drugs...
In a tiny squeaky voice....
it wasn't Rodney Marsh was it?
P
NO IT WAS NOT RODNEY MARSH!!!
;)
Dali.
Hallucenogenic torreador.
One of my fave artists.
Why is the sky blue?
So we can play cricket without lights!
Its due to the Rayleigh scattering effect where blue, being a shorter wavelength gets scattered off gas molecules (i.e. ozone) whilst the longer wavelengths pass straight through.
