    The Liberty Bell was cast.

It was also the year in which England adopted the Gregorian calendar. As a result of this, there was rioting in the streets when people thought that they were going to lose 11 days of their lives because the new calendar required that September 1752 have only 17 days in it.
This was necessary because the difference between the Julian calendar and the Gregorian one now added 11 days to the year. Over time this difference would have increased due to the lack of a leap year in the Julian calendar which adds a 1/4 of a day every four years.

    The new formatting is EXCELLENT.

The term 'grammar nazi' was invented to make people, who don't know their grammar, feel OK about being uneducated.

    What is the spring equinox?
The name given to the marks on my wifes thighs after sleeping all night on a cheap inner spring mattress.

It's when your GST payments are due and the end of the financial year in Australia.

When did the uprising of the eunuchs take place and who was the ringleader?

O.K. it's a new week, time for a new question.

Who's the head of the England Cricket Academy?

    (Hint: It's not Liz Ellis)

That's second time there's been a Rodney Marsh question and the biting midge is nowhere to be seen.

    OK - my turn.

Who did Rodney spend most of his time with in the various bars when he was on tour in England as a member of the Australian squad?

    And why?
