    Here are some more cryptic clues for woodworking answers.

    1. Amateur actor joined French sea to produce a hit (6)
    2. Civic Marcus centred a popular Queensland blue spinner (7)
    3. Long for a common conifer (4)
    4. Confused platypus drops pea after inverted pool stick, regarding tree species (10)
    5. Music group observed endless blade (7)
    6. Was around Scottish mountain on airless seat (3, 6)
    7. Take the plunge, true or addled? (6)
    8. Lifeless end for tree (4, 6)
    9. Cheap zoo it wandered around (5)
    10. Irish dance looked to reciprocate (6)
