    Good Morning Friends,
i don't know how it is in the land down under but up here, according to the United States Department of Agriculture, red oak leads the pack as most produced hardwood lumber in the country. It leads by 37% of all lumber milled.
I am going to post a list of other woods and I would like you to see if you can figure out what percentage the other woods are used.

    White oak
    Poplar
    Ash
    Cherry
    Hard Maple
    Soft Maple
    Alder
    Other Species*
*Other species include basswood, beech, birch, cottonwood, elm, hackberry, hickory, pecan, tupelo, sap gum, walnut, and other hardwoods.

    Respectfully,
