My name is Kimmi Ko and I am a research student from Master of Philosophy at University of New South Wales, faculty of built environment.
I think woodwork forum could be a good place to post my project and get some help as the outcome of my project will be designing lounge furniture.
I am undertaking research to gather information about householders to determine behaviours in furniture usage, maintenance and disposition.
You are invited to participate in a postgraduate study on ‘Designing for long term product attachment’.
The aim of this research project is to uncover how designers can help to develop relationship between consumer and their lounge and sofa seatings to encourage long term satisfaction. For the full project statement and ethics approval, please click below link

The survey is proposed to find information about current lounge and sofa seatings for people who reside in Australia and over 18 years of age.
The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Your participation in this research is completely voluntary. If you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. However your contribution to the study is valuable and highly appreciated.
All information gathered will be combined for statistical analysis and individual response will not be identified.
