    Default Kid size desk?????????

I am under instructions to build a desk for the kids. I have a simple plan for a full size desk that would do very well, except for its size.

Can I shrink the plan (in proportion) to achieve the correct size?

The important dimension would appear to the height. The orginal leg length is 692mm. The height that I want is about 550mm. That is a size reduction of 20%.

If all of the dimensions were shrunk to 80% of the orignal size, would the over all look and function of the desk be maintained?

Be careful shrinking the size of the desk if its going to house full size components, its a bit hard to shrink the size of a computer monitor DAMHIK (hint: I have a shrunk desk too)
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.
