Anyone using a program called Total Cad?

Never heard of it. If it is freeware it is probably not much good. I think you will find it worthwhile to get a decent CAD program, like AutoSketch or Turbocad. I think they are both less than 100 pounds.

Try the freeware version of turbocad. Worth using even though its fairly old. Do a search, it may take a bit of finding. If you have trouble, I will find it for you when I have a bit more time.
