OF 1400 & Hole drilling set
Is anyone using this set up?
The base plate I have for the hole drilling set does not fit the OF 1400, Festool Australia have advised that the set is only for use with the smaller routers!
I'm sure I've seen reviews using the OF 1400 with the LR32 system.
Does anyone know if this is a user modification, seems straight forward enough, couple of hole in the base plate to match the OF 1400?

The latest version of the LR32 Sys fit both the OF1010 and the OF1400 routers. The OF1010 is locked in place by the the two hold down knobs. The OF1400 is attached by screws through the base of the LR32, then into the base of the OF1400 router. If you have an older LR32, it is easy to drill some holes into the base to fit an OF1400.
Here is a pic of both bases. The newer base with OF 1400 provision holes circled.

Thanks Anthony,
Very helpful, if I'm ever in Melbourne I'd like to see your Festool Palace!, it's a great idea & looks fantastic. If anyone hasn't looked at your site for a while they need to take another look.
What's the response been like from visitors?
