another addict maybe
After an earlier post here about problems with Kapex and 10 replacement machines I wrote to Festool in Germany (no reply) and questioned the NZ importer and my retailer. No one knows anything about these problems with Kapex!
I also went to a number of retailers in Auckland and said if I buy these five machines what discount will you give me - zero. How come Festool in New Zealand have things as well tied up as this and probably in Aus as well.
But all so how come Festool is half the price in the US to NZ and Aus?
They are good machines and a great system but in this day and age of the global market we shouldn't be paying double the US price.

as a yank, i hear people complain over here about the prices.....go figure... but thank you guys for debugging the stuff for us, so when it gets here it is all sorted believe me i do not let the low prices stop me from buying all i can
