The sales team have been treating me really well answering questions, etc.

I made the mistake of signing up for the newsletter from Atlas Machinery in Canada.
And get agro ever time I see a Festool on sale.

In comparison 37mill pop in Canada and only 25mill pop in Aus.

$100 off max for the bigger items.
    And some pretty ordinary offers.
Maybe 10% of value on really big buys on discounts and added offers.

Better off watching for second hand or never used offers on social media.

You think they'd have introductory offers for first timers to get them hooked on an affordable Festool.
    Especially the more popular tools.
Thats how drug dealers do it.

Wish Apple would buy them out and start offering global warranties.
    Thanks,
    Barry G. Sumpter

It's not all bad news. When I bought my Domino XL, a $300 systainer of dominos turned up unexpectedly with it. The following month they had a promo for the XL and the free domino's, so they'd given me the promo a month early.

I have it on good authority that there have been supply chain disruptions to stock in Australia, and hence the offers for this period might reflect the lack of stock on some items (i.e. they've offered what they can).

It was also worth noting there was no promotion covering July and August, presumably for the same reasons.

I'm sure once things return to normal, more attractive offers might be available.

Yeah, but, Barry, if Apple bought Festool, there would be a few new paradigms to adjust to:

    (1) All tools would immediately become cordless... but you'd have to plug a charger into the tool to charge them up.
    (2) Batteries would be included with the tool, and become non-changeable. If the battery failed, the user would be expected to throw away the tool and purchase a new one.
    (3) All accessories (blades, sandpaper etc) would change to become brand specific, the tool would be changed to accept only brand specific accessories, and there would be only one place to source the accessories from
    (4) No prices would decrease. Ever.

I could probably think of some more... don't get me started on Apple >.<

What have you got against stuff made in China?

Why shouldn't Festool be made in China?
