Something called a Domino?
Firstly, I'm excited!
The lovely lady in my life surprised me with a little thing called a Domino for my birthday. Apparently a few people on here rave about it? I'm worried because she seems to know as much about them as me - I thought my hints were much, much more subtle than that!
I'm now busily drawing up plans for the loooong overdue pieces I have wanted to make - all I need now is a quiet weekend!
My first impressions? Well, nothing that hasn't been said on here before. After watching Youtube videos of the Domino a gazillion times over the past year, I was in the shed and knocking up joints in no time! Perfect joints too!
Now my evenings are filled by trawling through the Festool section on here, picking up what I have been missing.
Cheers,
Nathan.

Nathan - congrats on the new baby.....
You must have been very, very good recently.
FYI there is a better Domino manual out there (written by someone in the US) - its titled 'Domino Supplemental Manual' or some such. Let me know if you don't have it and I'll try to dig out a link, or I can email it to you if you're on broadband (its a 3Mb file).

Thanks for those links Mr Brush and Brice. Reading through it now...
The standard manual leaves alot to be desired if you're not too familiar with the machine already.
Another PDF floating around the net is "Getting the Most from the Festool Domino Machine" by Jerry Work. Takes you through a few projects and a few tips along the way. I'm certain its freely available from the Festool USA website. Let me know if you want a copy.
