Unfortunately, there is a catch - when I clicked to get the price of the 3 cutters bundled together it said that they can currently only be shipped to the US.

Hi Ron,
It may be worth asking Carbatec if they can get them.

There is a discussion about the CMT cutters on the US Festool Owners Group: http://festoolownersgroup.com/index.php?topic=6303.0. Although none of the people participating have used them as yet, one has ordered them and promises to post a review sson. I think I will wait to read the results before proceeding further. But thanks Joez for the Price USA link - it does look promising, and not just for CMT cutters.

CMT bits for domino
Been hunting for these since exchange rate is good. Found that CMT now does the 4mm bit too. A TalkFestoolian mentioned Holbren. (TalkFestool tolerates non-festool discussions, unlike the other festool group, which is why people defected.)
Search results :: Holbren
Got a full set shipped ($14 post) for US$107.85 = $109.78 via Paypal. Here I couldn't get 2 bits for that price.
Holbren doesn't do international shipping via web form, just email them. They accept payment by paypal. Excellent service, happy to buy there again.
(Can't get the picasa web albums to embed link to images.)

The CMT bits are different, which gets around the patent issue. Different flute design, different tip design, just fits on domino and cuts same size holes. Haven't used them in anger yet.
PS
noticed there is some variability in dimensions - trying to clarify it that is within manufacturing specifications for CMT
CMT 4mm 4x37.85mm
CMT 5mm 5x49.2
CMT 6mm 6x49.2
CMT 8mm 8x48.3
CMT 10mm 9.7x49.3Last edited by blouis79; 13th March 2011 at 03:37 PM. Reason: added

Let us know how you go with the cutters.
Does that slightly smaller cut with the 10mm make the domino's too tight?

OnlineToolReviews.com - Festool Domino Review
The above review by Bill Esposito gives a little insight into the Domino Cutters
with his comment that his cutters averaged 48.75mm.
Didnt give the individual size though.
