Default differance between U.K 240v and Oz 240v models?

i have a ts 55 which i bought new and i'm very happy with it, i would love to expand the collection but wouldn't use them enough to justify buying new, however i saw some 240volt festool items on ebay uk.

They also use the plug it plug, so is there a difference between the Oz and U.K 240v versions or are they essentially the same thing, or is there a difference in the hertz which may not make it work here?
Could i plug in here using the oz plug it lead and will it work here?

The 2nd hand market for festool is few and far between in oz ,so since they have alot of 2nd hand items on ebay uk which i could afford, i could get my nephew(who's in the uk) to buy the tool and post it over.
but i want to make sure it will work first.
    Any info is appreciated.

You should not have any problems with UK 230V tools in Aus. You will have to put an Aussie 3 pin plug on the end of the UK plug-it lead, or get an Aussie plug-it lead.

Make sure it is definitely 230v, 50Hz. Some UK models are 110V models.

You might want to check into Royal Post parcel rates. For any Festool sized object you'll pay at least 50 quid postage, probably more.

Over the years I've bought alot of cycling gear from the uk, so i'm used to the postage situation with bulky items. i love the cubic weight system...not
It's generally still worth the postage factor for some items.
