    Default Festool Called

I have three Festool products all drills so I was surprised to get a call from the Festool rep for my area who I have never met today. He will call by and have a look at one of them shortly even though it is out of warranty and I hope get it fixed. I have spent less than a $1000 with Festool so they must be hurting with sales to take this amount of trouble. I do appreciate the fact that he is going to call in but my Festool buying days are most probably over not that they ever got started too much.

I got a call a few weeks ago too. He came by for a chat and gave me a pair of Festool protective glasses. I think he was impressed by my collection and I was able to show and tell him a few things about Festool he didn't know.
Always happy to talk bout Festool.

I haven't been called. Maybe I should stop buying the darn things for a bit...

Feel a bit sorry for the resellers - with Fe$tool offering free postage during COVID, there's an incentive to buy direct.

according to a rep I spoke to with my last Festool purchase, if you buy direct you nominate a dealer and they get a cut of the sale.

Ah good - wondered why that needed to be set. I'll demand a coffee the next time I can go in to the store.
