Festool CMS new model coming?
Been looking at the CMS for the MFT bench and i noticed that some of the CMS fitting are labeled as "Still in Stock" on the Festool AU website
And some the range is unavailable.
Anyone know if there is indeed a newer range coming?

That "still in stock" label is a real mystery. You can even find it on their normal MFT clamps and I doubt that those are going to disappear.
I think that it is just a normal Festool website stuff up (it takes real skill to have a website that is this bad and still be in business).
I just ordered some sanding belts. The ones marked "still in stock" showed up with no sign or explanation as to what happened to the ones marked "limited stock".
Do you intend to attach the CMS to the MFT?

Yeah its a little odd.
like the 2200 router CMS module http://www.festool.com.au/of-2200-router-cms-module
it appears that is gone, as is the belt sander module and there use to be a lot more CMS modules that what is now on the site.
If i got time tomorrow, i might call them and find out.
This is the attachment for the MFT, it can be brought by its self http://www.festool.com.au/epages/too...roducts/290315
It's just a bolt on.

That is the CMS module for the OF2200 router including the router. You can buy them as two separate units.
http://www.festool.com.au/epages/too...roducts/570251
and
http://www.festool.com.au/epages/tooltechnic.sf/sec6feb101782/?ObjectPath=/Shops/tooltechnic/Products/574351/SubProducts/574351
The complete unit with stand alone CMS is still available
http://www.festool.com.au/epages/too...roducts/570279
If you are interested I can show you a simple mod to the MFT that enables you to mount the CMS modules in your MFT and still be able to switch back to regular MFT use.

Cheers,
I though it was odd that i couldn't see it, i normally just look at my paperback version of the Festool catalogue.
But it is hiding somewhere.
Have you got a picture of the mod? could be interesting

I'll be dirty if there is a new CMS. I just took delivery of my CMS TS 55 SET.
The squirrel has returned!

i was just about to say the AU website has the CMS-GE Listed..
I've got to head of to C&L tools today to grab some welding gear, they have a very large Festool range, ill ask, but i doubt ill get correct answer, unless they have a festool specialist.
So ill try Festool AU once i get home this arvo.

No new CMS that I am aware of. I would not read too much into the stock level description of Festool AU website.

I forgot to reply, i did speak to festool AU, about the CMS
The tech i spoke to, wasn't aware that limited stock was coming up on the festool au site.
They aren't aware of a new CMS, it just appears that the limited stock is a programming issue on their site.
