Festool decking clips
Hi all,
This is my first post. I thought I might share the beginings of my deck. The timber is red iron bark. finished size will be 120sqm I have done about 5 so far a way to go yet. I am doing it inbetween other jobs on my house build. The issue is doing a deck with steel joists it would be a lot quicker if the joists were timber and I could use the great SS screws that come with the clips. It took a while to find suitable self tappers but now is all good. Yes the system costs a lot but my lady love loves the end result and reackons it is worth it and that is all that matters.
I also have the new impact driver (the guys at Combined Electrical in the ACT know me well) mentioned else where and have driven about 10,000 screws so far as my house is all steel - frames, cladding roof and find it great, although I dont have anything to compare it to. I have 3 batteries and that gets me through the day no worries.
Cheers
Le Flaneur

It looks like you have a great quality build going there. Using quality tools makes it just that much easier. I was wandering about the usefulness of the impact driver, but you have answered my thoughts. Seems I will need one regardless .
Happy building.

Welcome Le Flaneur, nice first post. Thanks for the pics.... not many people use or get to see the Domino decking system in action.
