Talking My Festool family grew today!

    G'day viewers!

I'm pretty sure I scored a bargain today.

Scored... 1 FS1400 guide strip fitted with a FS-RAPID, an older mft fitted with a FS800 and protractor and last and best a CT22!

Saw the ad in our Advertiser for "Festool power tools, $350 the lot!", rang the man as I saw this ad at lunch time. "I'll be there this 'arvo" says I, consider them sold. Took the missus for a drive as it was up to Mt Barker, came home the scenic way, 2 hour, 115Km round trip, Bargain!

The guides need new rubber strips (splinter guards) and the CT22 needs a new bag.

How stoked am I! Got home and plugged my ES 150/3 EQ into the CT22, switched it to auto and away we went, dust free sanding!

I've been considering getting a Festool plunge saw, I think I'm definately heading that way now.

    Nice work! Especially the CT22.

The FS-RAPID is not that well known, but a great clamping option for guide rails. Not so good for two guide rails joined together. As it wants to help separate them at the connectors. But for the 1400 you have, it's well suited.

Nice one! A while back, I picked up an FS 3000, a FS 2424-LR32 and a MAFELL 1 metre all like new (and I mean they didn't have a scratch on them) for 30 Euro. That's around 50 Aussi. Don't have any Festool tools so I sold the lot in ebay. Got 220 Euro for 'em so it made parting with my first Festool items easier...
