    Default Festool Guide Rail Bag

    Hi All

    does anyone else have a problem with fitting there 1400mm rails into the guide rail bag.
    and if i do squeeze them in it damages the rubber edge

    any solutions?

    They are the absolute limit of what will fit in the bag. I find I have to put one in with the zip fully open, close the zip a bit, then carefully slide the second one in the other way around, so the channels are against the thin edge of the opposing guide.

    All the accessory joiners & clamps go in a thin systainer that is clipped to the saw box, not the short pocket.

    i cant even get one rail in the top corner sticks out cant shut it

    i think mine has shrunk

    I have two 1400 rails, plus one 800 rail in my bag. They seem to fit in comfortably.

    Mine sucked also, it came 'free' with a deal, I chucked it.

    I'd guess you have the old version of the bag like I do. The new version doesn't have large outside pocket for the 800mm rail.

    No, all three rails are inside the main pocket. Bought in July, 2011.

    well i wet my bag with some water. then i put a piece of mdf and reversed 2 irwin clamps so they will spread it. ill leave it fo a couple of days to dry.
