Festool & Leigh Jigs
Will the OF 1400 be sufficient for routing tenons and alike with a Leigh D4R jig in terms of HP. I would have thought so. Currently use a Hitachi 12VR, which has plenty of power but has issues elsewhere. The OF 2000 (equivalent HP to the Hitachi) doubles in price.

Leigh use OF1400s a lot when they demonstrate their jigs and FMT, and even in their advertising material.
The OF1400 has heaps of power considering its size, usability, and stability. The MMC electronics have a lot to do with its ability to cope with heavy routing yet not show signs of stress.
