Festool Router guide rod dimensions
I have a couple of Festool guide rails for use with the TS55 and like the idea of using my router on the rail too. Of course I could "just" go out and buy a new Festool router and guide rail adapter, but I have an extremely good Bosch router that I'm not about to throw away just for this. I'd like to see if the Bosch may fit the Festool guide (knowing Festool I'd say I have fat chance of that, but nice to know). I was wondering is somebody with accurate callipers could measure the centre distance of the 2 guide rods and let me know? I couldn't find any reference to it anywhere. Also the size of the rods themselves? Just eyeballing it they looked about 8 mm???
Thanks for the help.
Pete
