Festool Sanding Disks
My dealer has recently been out of Festool sanding disks ( grade 40 and 80 ). Instead he recommended the SIAFAST disks from Switzerland telling me that they were as good and a lot cheaper than the original Festool's.
True they cost a great deal less but i have found that they do half the job and i specifically refer to the grade 40. It was like i was using a grade 60 from Festool. I found that they were also wearing out a lot faster.
Does anyone on this forum know where the Festool disks are manufactured? Are they Festool made ( which i would very much doubt ) or are they made by someone else ( maybe SIAFAST?).
Thanks
riri
