Buy a box of spare bags and give them a new one? You'll need new bags eventually and it's not like they'll go bad sitting on a shelf.
EDIT: Or just swap the new bag in the replacement vac for the one you used.

Bunnings was being tightarses with me the other day about this very issue. I brought a vac back for a warranty issue and I had lost one of the fittings. I asked cant I just swap what I have and leave the missing fitting with you guys and they said no its their policy. its stupid.

You shouldn’t have a problem returning it - this is part of why we pay so much for Fe$tool.

Good Morning QWERTYU
Not sure if this will help.
About 15 years ago SWMBO wanted a Miele turbo vaccuum cleaner, and I agonised whether to get the standard or the HEPA model. They looked identical, the specifications were identical; the colour of the filter cassettes were different. The HEPA vaccuum was $200 dearer, so I bought the standard model.
Six months later I needed a replacement filter cassette so I went into the store. "Do you want the standard cassette ($50) or the HEPA cassette ($100) ?" I bought the HEPA and it just snapped into place. Worked perfectly.

Ian, both the Mirka and the Festool hoses I linked to are anti-static.

according to Festool's marketing ...
[the] suction levels between L and M Class extractors are very similar. [but] an M Class extractor however will have superior filtration and a flow sensor / alarm that alerts the user to a drop in suction rate caused by things like a blocked hose or full dust bag.
So, to put it simply, you take an L Class dust extractor with a HEPA filter, add a flow sensor / alarm, and you’ve got an M Class dust extractor.
So there is a difference between the two extractorsregards from Alberta, Canada
