Default Pad saver for festool 150mm ROS

Are there generic or third party pad savers for festool 150mm sanders? The Festool one is about $23 which seems like a bit much (Mirka's is $6 for their sander)

I'm pretty sure they're all interchangeable. The Mirka 67 hole ones fit my Bosch ROS fine.

The Mirka 67 hole unit from places around me is dearer than $23 - more like $30 to $40. I’ve seen them on eBay for around &7 but postage is $85

Could be wrong, but what you've probably seen is $40 for a 5 pack. That's what I paid. They last a loooong time.

Doesn't the mirka have 6 inner holes whereas festool have 8? Festool has 17 large holes and mirka 15?

If that's the case it looks like you'll have to spring for a Festool pad saver then. It would be typical of them to make things that little bit different to lock buyers in to paying the extraordinary prices they charge, for everything!
