Thread: Where can I see a kapex in action before I buy

I think F&K POWER TOOLS. 86-88 PARRAMATTA ROAD. STANMORE has things set up for demos - give them a call.

No one does a good price on them any more, I picked one up early on in the year for $1500 or there abouts from Just Tools in Melbourne (they had a special).

John - go to the Festool Australia website and click on the Free Demonstration link - then click "Product Demonstration Enquiry" and enter your details. A rep will contact you regarding a demonstration and they will come to you - even in your own home. This way you can use the tool in your own setting with the rep there to answer any questions you have. As the link says, the demos are FREE and you should be able to negotiate a reasonable price with your rep.

With this kind of service, I doubt you'll be able to negotiate too much

Try VEKS tool, they have almost every Festool setup for demo.

Good to know about VEK Tools - my dealings with Festool (although I'm in Newcastle area) have been very helpful and 'open' to negotiation.

Thanks for the feedback - I think I will look into all of these (especially interested to be able to see one at my house).
