Laser light intensity varies
Can anyone please tell me why the LH laser on my new Kapex KS 120 saw has much lower brightness than the RH laser?
Is this a common problem, or is that how it is meant to be?
Is there any way to fix it so that they both have the same intensity ( brightness)regards,
Dengy

Jill, I'd guess there is dust causing the one of the lasers to be a little dimmer than the other.

Thanks for this response, Brive, but I have removed the dust lens, as per the manual, and there was a bit if dust present. However that made no difference. Even without the dust lens, the LH laser line was much weaker than the RH line, in fact it was hard to see in places.
I would welcome any other suggestions and ideas, pleaseregards,

hi bryan.
if your kapex "lives in your van"...
i think you will be adjusting the kapex everytime you go to use it.
i have had to re-adjust the lasers because i moved it from the garage to a site one time.
how long has it been in your van?
