Default Having a look at Festool in Western Victoria

Reading through the posts here, many seem to revolve around determining suitability of Festool products for different uses. Given that purchasing a Festool is a long term investment, this makes a lot of sense. If you live in Victoria, anywhere west of Melbourne and would like to see tools in use, or get some personalised advice, please feel free to send me a P.M. Working with Festool as a Technical Sales Consultant, I have the pleasure of meeting, helping and learning from woodworkers daily. Steve

    Default Similarities and differences

As my user name suggests, and a look at past posts will show, I was the distributor for Triton in Japan for many years. Passion for Triton was born as a kid, being babysat by theTriton video in McEwans, while Mumdid the shopping.
For someone who is limited for space, is on a tight budget and is happy to spend time in fine tuning, or making jigs to raise the level of precision, Triton is well suited. I am finding that the precision out of the box is what attracts some users to Festool. Key to satisfaction with any tool, is selecting the most appropriate one for your needs.

    Isn't a Festool MFT a Triton for grown-ups?

Is this reference to an even darker side, than that usually referred to by those parochial hand tools in another section on the Forum ?
