MFK (MISSING FEATURES) issues!!!!!!!!
it really annoys me that festool made the mfk without some very important features.
( take the makita trimmer its noisy no varible speed the fence sucks and it not a vey nice piece of equipment but at least you can see the cutter and it has height adjusment more than 14mm)
they go to all the trouble of making the mfk with all the attachments for edges fine adjustment and all the other stuff it has. and it only has 14mm of adjustment. And you cant see the cutter. some times you need to use the trimmer one handed and be looking at the cutter. they would have made a killing IMO if they had developed the mfk so you can see the cutter and have more height adjustment.
does this annoy anyone else??????????????

hi bryan, i have never used the mfk, and after reading your post, i never will!
i think it is very important to see the cutter while cutting, at least when using a trimmer for fitting door furniture, etc. i will stick with the makita.
thanks for the heads up, i shall strike this off the future festool wish list.
regards, justin.
