Multitool Blade recommendations
I have numerous holes to make in walls in the near future, so I'm going to pick up one of the new fein-disguised-as-fe$tool vecturo OSC 18V multitools. As I already have batteries and a charger, it's a slightly less eye-watering price than it would have been.
Unlike its predecessor, it uses the Starlock Max blades, which means I'm not locked in to overpriced consumables. I wondered if anyone here has any recommendations for easily available alternative starlock blades in Aus?

Bernard, is that the same blade system as the original Fein used and which I have? We are in the middle of house renos and it is the single best tool we have used, it cuts gyprock like a knife and instead of smashing it out we pulled the gyprock out in the same sized sheets it went in at. I bought a heap of blades years ago from the US but that was when there was limited choice & the dollar was not breathing from a scuba tank from here Multi Tool Blades | Oscillating Tool Blades | Fein Multimaster Blades but there are way more sources now. I haven't used many blades at all so you won't want a heap of them.

Thanks Chris. I believe that it can use the same starlock blades as the original Feins, as well as the larger starlock max. Despite the weaker AU$, I'm still finding it cheaper to get some stuff from the states. Crazy.

Which blade do you use for drywall, Chris? New to these things and there's far too much choice!

Sorry mate I had forgotten all about this question. The one we have been using is a half circle blade, if you can't find one let me know by email and I will send you one because that is all you will need. Flat Moon Oscillating Tool Blades

On AliExpress there are a huge number of vendors for these: multitool blades – Buy multitool blades with free shipping on AliExpress version
When choosing, I've often looked for the reviews by Russians. They are bloody harsh with crappy goods and unhesitatingly excoriate them via the comments.
So, if there are plenty of sales and no negatives, this is excellent.

I've bought these and have found I can destroy them equally as good as the original Fein ones but at a much cheaper price:
