Default New Domino Shelf Drilling Jig :)

Here is a great jig to drill repetitive and perfectly spaced holes for adjustable shelves. Very fast and incredibly accurate. Shown is a Cinnamon Wood Domino shelf support. Will get some better pics and a run down on how the make the supports soon.

This is using the 5mm Domino, tomorrow i will try it with the new 4mm cutter. I love this jig. Never come across a quicker way of doing it. And the timber supports make it look oh so sexy

Another one to file away in the noggin and other memory banks (in case the noggin fails me ) for future reference.
I make things, I just take a long time.

    Lignum

Great idea. Any reason why you haven't spaced the supporting mortices further apart closer to the front and back of the shelf?

Did you ever post more pictures of the jig. I am wanting to use something similar, so would love to see the photos.

    you do.

It's only if you have one that you don't need one.

    Calm - you need it!

(Sheesh - I'm never going to live this down!)

fwiw - there are 2 articles on Stu's Shed about the Domino, with another couple imminent. I will do some video stuff soon, but I'm a bit busy actually using it on a project!
The 4mm domino is perfect for 12mm MDF boards fwiw - 10mm deep mortises (20mm tenon).

Thanks Lig, I wish I were closer to ideal tools as well. Have you got the course in a video tutorial format? I find that you learn just as much from other course participants as you do the course itself. Don't suppose if anyone knows of similar courses in brisbane?
