Pat on the back
A well deserved pat on the back for Anthony of Ideal Tools, who chased up my Shim order from Seneca in the States.A back order took a few months however he was on the ball with it chasing it up.
I sold my DF500 some time back decided to keep the DF700 but required the shim to use with it.I have been using steel plate in the interim but is unwieldy & quite heavy, rather than cut the plate to width size ,I put up with it instead of machining it to size ,at 1200mm long it was Ok for doing a series of cuts along the face held in place with clamps at each end.Johnno
Everyone has a photographic memory, some just don't have film.

I placed an order with Seneca direct on 19th July and on October 6th it finally arrived in Sydney. It sat in Chicago from 28/07 - 03/10. Seems whatever shipping Seneca is using it is getting stuck in customs or in some other very large backlog.
