    Default Rotex ro 90

I found a new brochure for a rotex ro 90 at my local tool shop. I am just wondering if anyone out there has any information on it and its performance. I restore external timber mainly decks. It would appear that it can change heads from circular to triangle. That would be great for corners. I have 2 rotex 150 and 1 rotex 125 and they play a major role in my work. Any comments on this new piece would be greatly appreciated.

C&L Power tools had this on display during the week and a small quantity available to purchase as well. It will retail at around the $830 mark, but there is a 10% off special there on festool tools until saturday, including the RO90. At present there is not a dedicated systainer for the 90mm round sanding pads. The triangular pads are the V93 and there is already a systainer for that. For me, I like to keep all my sanding pads in one box per sander and was hoping that there will be one released for the new sander that has a combined insert. The official launch is not until early September so there may be a special introductory price with at least the V93 box.
I too looked at this unit for my decks. It felt well balanced in the hands and not overly heavy. Such a versatile sander and will definitely be getting one before the end of the year.
