Dumped for the CXS in 2013 I believe.
This is probably close to the last price: 2013 C12 on Fe$tool

Don't think I would. Those batteries will have been sitting around for some time - might be decent if they've been stored correctly. Can you get replacements? Factor in the price and you're probably knocking on the door of the price for the set originally when it had a warranty.
If you can't get replacements you'd need to be happy with rebuilding the packs.

New bats would make it a bit more attractive, as would knowing that more are available (note that I'm not in the market for another driver myself).
However, given that a new 12V CXS set (with three chucks) is only $525, with Festool's 3 year warranty, I'd just buy new.

I did mention that.
Their reply was that the Mini doesn't stack up against the C12.
Might just be them trying to make a sale.

But for some reason I don't get notices.
So I've really messed this up.

New Festool C12 drill in systainer with 2 batteries and charger
$395
New Festool C12 D handle cordless drill with Centrotec fitting, drill chuck, charger and 2 brand new LI 12V Batteries. (updated after my first contact)

This is best drill Festool made, light weight, powerful and comes close to your work area, well balanced and light. This model has been discontinued. This one was one of the last ones Festool produced.

Batteries can be charged on 18V later model chargers as well and ditto this charger can charge later 18V batteries.
Instead of the 2 new batteries of 1.2ah happy to provide 2 slightly used ones at 2.6ah ones. Your choice.
