Cheaper tools, means cheaper manufacturing......like moving manufacturing to China or even India......is that what Festool Tool Lovers want???

It would be a nice Xmas present from Festool to lower their prices to at least UK or EU levels.
That way Festool AU will sell more...a win win for you dealers.
...but I don't want to get into the price war discussion again...only if you want too

Hey Wolften not my brand to get into price wars, I think festool is trying to do better deals for the end user as they have spent alot of time in coming up with the new build your own kit for the cordless range, i never ever thought i would see the day an original battery was the same price as an aftermarket.

As an end user what would you prefer, bonus product or special pricing? this has been a topic for us in our business & industry for a while

Personally bonuses are often useless, you can end up with products you don't need or want. My vote would be for prices closer to those my friends in the UK and US enjoy.

Coming back to the topic of the TI 15 impact driver. I'm interested in the "bare tool" as I already own a T 15+3 with all the attachments. I notice from the UK site that the bare tool comes in a systainer with an adaptor however, it's not clear on the VEK tools site whether the adaptor is also included here. Is this the case?

    cheers

Hi, I would also like to know to what extent I can use the T15+3 attachments on the new impact driver if only the skin is purchased. The battery is the obvious one. Maybe Mr VEK can tell us

Just got the Impact Drivers in for Saturday Sale, lucky as we said we would have them on the last sale & didnt. We are about to run them thru a test against the makita instore, we will list the results & photos up as soon as we finish.

The Basic skin version comes with centrotec adapter, magnetic bit holder systainer carry case & unit. The set version also includes the intermediate adaptor so you can use the right angle & offset attchments, charger, 2 lithium batteries, right angle attachment & 13mm Quick fit chuck.

If anyone wants to put one thru its paces just pop into Smithfield or Narellan happy to get some feedback from you guys

Hmm, so the "basic" kit won't allow me to use the accessories from my T15+3?

At times in the past we have had some issue here before the States as if Festool was testing the waters so to speak.

Now that the impact driver has been available for about 2 months - has anyone bought one and used it? Some feedback would be great.
As I have the T15+3 I would love to be able to use the accessories on this when only purchasing the skin and adapter.

    Unfortunately not.

Only "15V" (actually 14.4V) and "12V" (actually 10.8V) batteries will fit the new Festool TI-15 impact driver.
