Tool Points
In the 2007 Price list, there is a column titled "Tool Points"
Does anyone know what purpose they serve, I suspect it's not for bragging rights?

Hi,
You can find our more about Tool Points on the Festool German web site, but I can't read it as it's in German. So here is a quote from Festool USA about Tools Points.
"In some countries the Festool subsidiaries have customer clubs. If you register your tool for warranty, you can collect those tool points and exchange them for something later on. Here is a list of countries that are participating: http://www.toolsforprofit.com/ - Christian O (Festool USA)"
They are not used in the US, or here in Aus.
