    Default Vac hose help

I am using a generic 7.5m hose with my vac and it has a 36mm tip. Is there some sort of adapter available (it doesnt look like festool have one) which I can stick this tip into and on the other end it is the 27mm tip to use on domino/ets ec sander?

Using a genuine Festool 36mm hose myself, and instead of the hose going inside the port on the tool (e.g. Domino, Track Saw etc), on the 36mm hose, the fitting goes over the outside of the tool port.

I have never heard of an adapter, but you might be able to modify your hose end to fit in the fashion described above? Don't worry too much about the "cut outs" inside the part listed below - they pressure fit on the tool just fine, and I often don't bother lining things up etc.

Alternatively, I would imagine that a normal 36mm end-of-hose fitting from Festool to replace the end on your hose would work: Anti Static Hose Connector 36mm with RFID

Whether you can attach this to you generic hose might be the question/challenge...

I've 4 of these style of vacuum attachments.

The are nicely made and taper both on the internals and externals. They are available in rubber-like-substance and hard PVA.

Good for the house vac too Ive a few interesting long nozzles and rotating brushes (three cats and SWMBO/Loving Son have long hair).

qwertyu, have you had a look on the Festool Owners Group Forum? High probability that someone on the FOG has asked that question.

I have had success at getting an adaptor at a vacuum cleaner specialist. eg Vac City or Godfreys.
