Default Vacuum cleaner in a Systainer - it's real and you can buy one

Just saw something new while trawling ebay that we don't have here (yet?): a Systainer vacuum, not the clamping system but an actual vacuum for dust - complete with a power takeoff point.

Don't think I'd get one, my MIDI is portable enough for me, but it's certainly an interesting concept.

When I saw this a couple of months ago I thought I had a little bulb moment, but unfortunately I blew the fuse (Which is what would happen ). I figured you could use two vacs on a CMS table saw arrangement (or CS 50/70) - one for the saw and one for the top. Stack the Sys Vac on the big vac, saw into tool trigger for the SYS vac, and Sys vac into tool trigger for the big vac. Trouble is it would be to much power draw for the big vac to handle.

It can actually be done according to a sparkie I spoke to (with some mods), but you'd still need a 15A circuit which are not common for the man on the job in the field.

Just had a look out of curiosity and the number's don't add up. The CT36 has a max connected tool power of 1800W, the Systainer vac takes 1000W leaving 800W for the saw...but the CS50 wants 1200W and the CS70 wants 2200W.
So the 15A circuit will handle it, but you might blow up the vac in the process

Yeah, that's right - just saying a fuse for convenience.
