That.....is a great video. Festool videos have always been good (particularly the music), but they've taken a step up there. Oh yeah, drill looks good!
Thanks for the info Justin: I know you've been on the tail of that for a while.

Thet are very good videos.
One thing I noticed was the operator wearing ear muffs, used my sons Milwakee screwdriver over the weekend and have to say without earmuffs even for this half deaf bloke you certainly know when the driver is hammering.Jim Carroll

I think it is clever that the bloke in the video is wearing earmuffs.
I am sure most people have worked it out already but I will explain anyway......
Litigious society = I will sue your a## for making me blind and deaf!
Thats why Festool bloke is wearing Safety goggles and earmuffs.
Not necessarily because the tool is overly noisy.
Has anyone noticed in the video the computer graphics showing how the impact motion actually impacts?
I have never seen a computer graphic of this before, and though I have been using impact drivers for 12 years, I have no idea what goes on inside the plastic housing.
Is this a new way of impacting by Festool?
Or do all impact drivers work in the same way, using the same motions and gearing inside the housing?
Cheers, Justin.
