I moved to the "Kempen" but that will be unknown for most forum visitors.

My Festool dealer said he already had three Kapex-machines and he already sold two of them the first day. (in Limburg)

He knew that I was in the market for a new saw and was looking at Makita or DeWalt so he rang me on Friday to offer me his last Kapex.

Hope it will arrive very soon !

European versions do work on 220-240 volts at 50 Hz... Some european countries however are still on the 110 volts.... So both are available.

    hi,

In europe it is already up for sale with a number of on line tools merchants. I suppose they could send send it to you. Obviously transport charges will be applicable.

When Im in the u.k. in june, Im going to be checking this out (if its there) along with some other festo gear, and mafell gear.. The Kapex looks like a beaut. I wonder if it trenches as well as the pictures suggests...if it does, its a well tuned machine. My Makita could never do that.

I was wondering which countries that might be, and stumbled on this interesting link: link

It might not be 100% correct, but it's interesting nonetheless; for example: it states that the voltages in Belgium and the Netherlands are 230V and 400V, while they are commonly named 220V and 380V. (I guess it's a bit of nitpicking on my account, cause it's in the same range)

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion & it has been shown in the past that if you bag somebody for having a different opinion, then they may/will leave & several others may/will not even voice their opinion for fear of being bagged in public.
What sort of a forum would that be?

    PS. What's a Kapex?

A Kapex is a Sliding Compound Miter Saw. And dont be afraid to ask or voice your opinion cause we wont bite or run you out of town. By the way welcome to the Festool threads
