Its the devil box.... Looks like a set of horns and the handles look like eyes of flame... Ok, I will change my medication now.
I like it, will sell well to the goth crowd...I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

The Devil Box ! Angelic, Satanic! Perhaps my alter-egos are struggling for expression? I think I'll invoke my Buddhist leanings and call it a "Lotus" box, a more benign interpretation.
Tony, the drawers are more like pouches than drawers, probably totally useless. I just make 'em.
Don, the box is red cedar finished as usual with tung oil. The photo doesnt do the grain pattern justice but it has alternating light and dark satiny streaks that ripple and flash when the box is turned in the light, very pretty stuff, I was lucky to have a few bits like that.
Thanks for the kind words everyone, keeps me at it.
Now back to the band saw.
