    Default New Bandsawn box WIP

Starting a new Bandsawn box made with a off cut from a Salmon Gum log.
1st I filled all the voids and checks with Casting resin.

Then I smoothed out the front face enough to get it onto the bandsaw for some trimming and levelled the bottom and cut the back off.

Now busy finishing the front face before I cut the drawers out.

It's Mirotone Semi Gloss Lacquer and then rubbing down with Restor a Finish and Ubeaut Traditional Wax.

Loved this piece! Thanks for taking the time to post the "in progress" photos. Do you remember what the outside measurements were? Approx. is fine....

Hi its really beautiful, admire your work. How many hours work did it take? What is the green material for the draw linings and do you just glue it in?
