Good site Don, Thanks I've bookmarked it.
Seen some of this guy's work before and lost the bookmark when I changed computers.

    Cheers

Hey Sprog, how did you know about my web site? I was surprised to see it here. I have just joined the forum at the invitation of Don Nethercott. We met on the Yahoo group 'bandsawboxes' that I help moderate. I've made quite a few boxes, all from my own designs. I got intrigued with how many different ways there were to design boxes to be made only using a band saw and belt sander. I'm nearing 50 now, and have not repeated myself much. I will have about 100 by the time I'm done.

Whew, it has taken me a few tries to figure out how this forum works. Thought my message had gotten lost. So, Sprog- that didn't tell me how you came across my web site. Was it just by chance on a search on band saw boxes?
My poor site needs a major overhaul- to be done as soon as I have nothing better to do- that may take a while.
Do you have a web site? Can I see your boxes anywhere?

I honestly do not remember, probably from a search.

I have only made a few boxes and have given them away to family and friends. Sorry didn't take any pics.

    Hi

This is my first contribution to this forum. I've been making bandsawn boxes for about 3 years now. You can see some of my work at www.tonyward.org.

The man who is the Master bandsawn box maker in Australia is Allan Williams of Dorrigo, NSW Australia. He conducts regular workshops at the Grafton ArtFest, the next one is September 2005 (over 5 days). Details at the Grafton ArtFest web site.

Enjoy making and creating new organic shapes

    Hi Tony

Any idea if Allan Williams or any one else is running courses on band saw box building.

    Regards Nick
